Our XL range of tanks have a range of transducer frequencies available as custom options. As well as our standard 28 and 40kHz models – 68, 80, 120 and 130kHz can also be specified. Simply put the higher the frequency the ‘finer’ the detail the cavitations can clean effectively, for example cleaning the grooves in a vinyl record. Normally you will want to strike a balance between the more aggressive lower frequencies and finer detail cleaning higher ones – which is why 40 / 68kHz models are the most common.
